Ministries
Ministries in Aquria-Catopolis are branches of the Government meant to advise the Prime Minister in their sector or to make autonomous decisions in their sector, at the discretion of the Prime Minister. Decisions of the Prime Minister, of the Ministries and of the Government of Aquria-Catopolis as a whole are at the discretion of Parliament.
Ministry of Agriculture
The Ministry of Agriculture manages Aqurio-Catopalian agricultural affairs, such as farming.
In the province of Meowton, farming is a major industry. It produces wheat, alfalfa, among other products. There is also some agriculture in the other provinces.
Ministry of Citizenship Recruitment
The Ministry of Citizenship Recruitment is responsible for recruiting new people to become citizens of Aquria-Catopolis. Its efforts have been widely well-received. As such, the citizenship of Aquria-Catopolis has grown much.
Ministry of Defence
The Ministry of Defence handles Aqurio-Catopalian defence affairs. It has boats (kayaks, canoes, and a sea-doo), a plane and other things. Aquria-Catopolis has never been through any wars, and as such, the Ministry has not been very active. See the ACOA website for more info about the planes and rockets.
Ministry of Environment and
Climate Change
The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change is responsible for protecting the environment. In Whiskerhaven, the Ministry is currently looking into solar power to be installed in all government buildings.
On 4 June 2026, it was renamed from the Ministry of Environmental Protection.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs handles Aqurio-Catopalian foreign affairs, such as trade.
Aquria-Catopolis has not engaged in relations with most other countries, on account of their non-recognition of Aquria-Catopolis.
Aquria-Catopolis is a member of the United Micronations of Scratch (UMNS), an organisation for informal micronational interactions. Most micronations in this group are much less reasonable/logical than Aquria-Catopolis. Many are like a game.
We are also a member of the Mega Ensemble of Micronations (MEM), which is much like the UMNS, but there is much less activity. Aquria-Catopolis has been the only recent contributor. There are some motions to leave the MEM.
In 2025, Aquria-Catopolis entered foreign relations with the Kingdom of Beanwai. See more on the Foreign Affairs website.
Ministry of Passports, Immigration
and Citizenship
The Ministry of Passports, Immigration and Citizenship (MPIC) is responsible for the issuing of passports, citizenship applications, and more.
It has created the citizenship application, the passports, and has issued a few to some citizens who requested them. It also manages the Aqurio-Catopolis Identity Card (ACID). The MPIC website is generally for citizens to manage identification and for non-citizens to become citizens or to visit Aquria-Catopolis.
Ministry of Transportation
The Ministry of Transportation handles Aqurio-Catopalian transportation affairs, such as transportation methods and vehicles.
