Today the Government of Aquria-Catopolis has adopted a new flag to represent Aquria-Catopolis.

Burgundy represents revolution, change and the common struggle. Blue represents justice, freedom and self-determination. The two sides and the two stripes represent the different identities of Aquria-Catopolis. The two white stripes also represent peace and unity.

According to a statement to the Aquria-Catopolis Gazette, the previous design was a "temporary design" originally created to represent the United Republics of Aquria-Catopolis, and would not be used with the same frequency as the flags of Aquria and Catopolis. "With the full Union between Aquria and Catopolis," they say, "We were looking to adopt a better representative flag for a while."

Parliament says they will soon pass an amendment to the Aquria-Catopolis Flags Act, officially changing the flag in law.
