11 November 2025. - On the Constitutional Amendment passed by Parliament. Parliament has amended the Constitution. The Amendment repeals section 28 of the Aqurio-Catopalian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, which allowed legislatures to pass bills ignoring sections of the Charter. 6 September 2025. - On the new national holiday Unification Day It has been declared by proclamation that every 25th of July shall be a national holiday called Unification Day. The Proclamation: A Proclamation FOR the declaration of a national holiday to be known as Unification Day WHEREAS, by an act of the Parliaments of the United Republics of Aquria-Catopolis, passed on the twenty-fifth day of July, two thousand and twenty-five, united and formed the country of Aquria-Catopolis; AND WHEREAS it is in the interest of Aquria-Catopolis that that day be officially adopted as a national holiday; AND WHEREAS such a holiday would commemorate and celebrate the creation of Aquria-Catopolis, the unification of Aquria and Catopolis, and the identities of Aquria and Catopolis: WE, THEREFORE, have thought it fit to issue this our Official Proclamation, and we do ordain, declare, and command that on and after the sixth day of September, two thousand and twenty-five, the twenty-fifth day of July of every subsequent year shall be a national holiday called Unification Day. 17 August 2025. - On the new Constitution Parliament has unanimously voted to pass a revised constitution, removing the two Antarctic provinces Felinea and Pawsland. This was following Parliament's unanimous decision to relinquish Aqurio-Catopalian claims on the Antarctic provinces, citing possible disputes with the Antarctic Treaty, other entities, among other reasons. 19 October, 2024. Today marks a brilliant day of triumph for the people of Catopolis. With no foreign aid, the Catopolis Defense Corps (CDC) has valiantly defended the country and defeated the enemy, who has fallen from the might of the CDC. Those who did not die at the hands of the CDC were graciously accepted into society by the forever glorious CDC. It is a glorious day for the people of Catopolis, the CDC, the Government and the workers who supported the war effort.
