Aquria-Catopolis Signs Treaty with Kingdom of Beanwai

Today, Parliament has signed and ratified a Treaty of Friendship with the Kingdom of Beanwai, therein stating the friendship of the two countries.
FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT of positive and open relations between Aquria-Catopolis and the Kingdom of Beanwai; FOR THE MUTUAL, cooperative, and bilateral benefit arising from such an association; AND FOR THE commencement of an international relationship lasting through the cooperation and accord between Aquria-Catopolis and the Kingdom of Beanwai.
In its six clauses, the treaty sets out (1) that Aquria-Catopolis and the Kingdom of Beanwai mutually recognise each other, (2) that they will form the Aquria-Catopolis-Beanwai Friendship Association (ACBFA), (3) that they are committed to "mutually beneficial, cooperative, and bilateral association," (4) that the Aquria-Catopolis and Beanwai gazettes shall publish the news of each other, (5) that the two countries shall communicate openly and honestly the major national and international developments of those countries, and (6) the possibility of other such international agreements in the future.
The ACBFA's vested purpose is to "promote the friendship, cooperation, and mutual benefit of both countries, as well as to agree on the interpretation of this Treaty, should conflict arise." Both countries are to have the same number of representatives therein. It also acts as the channel through which the sharing of news (clause 5) shall happen.

Treaty of Friendship BETWEEN AQURIA-CATOPOLIS AND THE KINGDOM OF BEANWAI. (2026) FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT of positive and open relations between Aquria-Catopolis and theKingdom of Beanwai; FOR THE MUTUAL, cooperative, and bilateral benefit arising from such an association; AND FOR THE commencement of an international relationship lasting through the cooperation andaccord between Aquria-Catopolis and the Kingdom of Beanwai:— IT IS HEREBY AGREED AS FOLLOWS: 1. Aquria-Catopolis and the Kingdom of Beanwai recognise the sovereignties of each other, and the authorities of those countries over those countries. 2. Aquria-Catopolis and the Kingdom of Beanwai shall form together the Aquria-Catopolis-Beanwai Friendship Association to promote the friendship, cooperation, and mutual benefit of both countries, as well as to agree on the interpretation of this Treaty, should conflict arise. The Aquria-Catopolis-Beanwai Friendship Association shall have equal representatives from both Aquria-Catopolis and the Kingdom of Beanwai. 3. Aquria-Catopolis and the Kingdom of Beanwai are committed to the mutually beneficial, cooperative, and bilateral association arising from this friendship. 4. The national publications of Aquria-Catopolis and the Kingdom of Beanwai, those being the Aquria-Catopolis Gazette and the Beanwai Gazette, shall communicate between each other events of importance in their respective countries, especially those major national or international events and holidays or other days of importance or celebration of those countries. 5. Aquria-Catopolis and the Kingdom of Beanwai are committed to open and honest communication between their two authorities, including any major national or international developments of those countries. This includes, but is not limited to: major reforms, leadership changes, new initiatives or programmes, and dissolution or restructuring. 6. Aquria-Catopolis and Beanwai may in the future create more agreements for the purpose of furthering the friendship; and the mutually beneficial, cooperative, and bilateral association of the two countries.
