Days of significance

On 25 July 2025, Aquria and Catopolis were officially unified into the Aquria-Catopolis of today. After, on 6 September 2025, the 25 of July was proclaimed Unification Day, to celebrate Aqurian and Catopalian culture, diversity and unity.

"A Proclamation
FOR the declaration of a national holiday to be known as Unification Day

WHEREAS, by an act of the Parliaments of the United Republics of Aquria-Catopolis, passed on the twenty-fifth day of July, two thousand and twenty-five, united and formed the country of Aquria-Catopolis;

AND WHEREAS it is in the interest of Aquria-Catopolis that that day be officially adopted as a national holiday;

AND WHEREAS such a holiday would commemorate and celebrate the creation of Aquria-Catopolis, the unification of Aquria and Catopolis, and the identities of Aquria and Catopolis:

WE, THEREFORE, have thought it fit to issue this our Official Proclamation, and we do ordain, declare, and command that on and after the sixth day of September, two thousand and twenty-five, the twenty-fifth day of July of every subsequent year shall be a national holiday called Unification Day."
