About
Aquria-Catopolis [ʌkˈwɚiə-kətɑpəlɪs] is a sovereign nation in North America. Aquria-Catopolis was originally two countries, Aquria and Catopolis, who agreed to form a personal union on
26 December 2024.
Aquria was originally founded as the District of the Blue Banner on 27 June 2024, and was soon renamed to the Federative Republic of Equaria on 8 July. On 11 December 2024, after a referendum, it was renamed to the Grand Duchy of Aquria, among other things.

Catopolis was founded on 14 July 2022 with five provinces. The sixth, Meowton, joined on 18 March 2025. On 13 August 2025, The claims on the Antarctic provinces of Pawsland and Felinea were relinquished, leaving four provinces and Aquria.
Following the 2024 personal union, in late July 2025, Aquria asked to join Catopolis fully due to many pressing national issues. On 25 July 2025, a new Constitution was ratified by both countries, making it so.
On 19 April 2026, a new constitution was adopted by Parliament and the provinces, greatly restructuring Aquria-Catopolis.
